Van Steenberge Brewery was founded in 1874 by Paul Van Steenberge . The brewery is located in Ertvelde in Belgium. It is famous for brewing top-fermented beers.
It was in 1295 that Augustijn beers were created by the monastery of the Augustine fathers. They were created to avoid contaminated water, which was at that time very often inappropriate . After centuries , is the Van Steenberge Brewery which brews the Augustijn since 1972.
The blonde is a typical Augustijn abbey beer . This is a bièrenblonde grading 7.5 °. On the palate there is key malt and hop . It's a fine beer palate with a bitter taste and vanilla on the finish.
